He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert Clay and Lelah Thomas (McCracken); and his sister-in-law Linda Thomas. He is survived by : his daughter Brittany Bowers; his son-in-law David of Belvidere, Illinois; his siblings, Floyd "Butch" Thomas of Mooresville, William "Bill" Thomas of Warsaw, Darrell Thomas (Jeanie) of Liberty, Dale Thomas (Sherry) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Linda Strange (David) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Audra, David Jr., Gabriel and Jazzmyn Bowers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
