She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Johnson and Frances Johnson (Sansone); her husband Richard; her son Mitchell Van Stockum; her grandson Adam Thomas; her siblings, Sherwood Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Harriet Burgus, Judy Handzel, Katie Siggeman and Bonnie Cranor; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Burgus, John Handzel and Ron Siggeman.
She is survived by : her daughter Cindy Thomas (Jeff) of Chillicothe, Missouri; her stepchildren, Jeff (Ellie Krezel) of Hoffman Estates, John Schroeder of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin and Jane Slindee (Carl) of Brighton, Michigan; her grandchildren, Amanda Sturm, Nicholas Sturm, Holly Van Stockum, Ian Van Stockum, Derrick Van Stockum, Jeffrey Thomas (Tuesday), Dawn Thomas, Courtney Studenec (Patrick), Richard Schroeder (Cynthia), John Schroeder, Field Schroeder (Nicole), Corie Sarti (Kelby), Jessica Grabacz (Keith), Chris Ptack (Jeff) and Sam Walton (Jake); her great grandchildren, Raymond Giese, Payton Giese, Addy Thomas, Khloe Thomas, Ethan Gansel, Madison Gansel, Rylee Studenec, Westley Studenec, Calyx Studenec, Lincoln Garbacz, Madelyn Garbacz, Charlotte Schroeder, Winston Schroeder, Ruby Sarti, Reese Sarti and Addyson Ptack; and her sister Donna Ostrowski (John) of Omaha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
