It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Roy Dusenberry of Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Dusenberry and Hattie Mae Dusenberry (Hawkins); his stepmother Sarah Ruth Chipps; his brother Carl Jackson Dusenberry; and his sister-in-law Julia Suzanne Dusenberry (Renfrow).
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Malinda Mae Kieffer (Dusenberry) of Chillicothe and Mika Kae Detmer (James) of Illinois; his siblings, John Andrew Dusenberry (Rachel) of Florence, Mississippi, Wilma Jones (Alan) of Hamilton, Wanda Haley (Raymond) of Chillicothe, Joan Hill of Grant City and Eva Johnson (Mark) of Marionville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ryan Sleeper (Amy), Kristin Shook (Michael), Drew Detmer (Madeline), Owen Detmer, William Kieffer and Madison Kieffer; and his great grandchildren, Berkley and Remy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Festival of Lights and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
