It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melody Kay Munson of Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Glen, Hazel Drummond, Lawrence and Mary Forck Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Linda Kay Drummond Forck of Chillicothe; her husband Chris Munson; her children, Kaylee Lynn Munson of Chillicothe and Dylan Michael Munson (Jillian) of Chillicothe; her father Larry Forck; her siblings, Daniel Forck (Dena) of Chillicothe and Julie Feuerborn (Caleb) of Overland Park, KS.; and her grandchildren, Raelynn Marie Munson and Eleanor Kate Mae Rankin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1601 Bryan St, Chillicothe, MO 64601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials for Melody Munson may be made to Chillicothe Elementary Library, or First Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
