We announce the death of Phyllis Caughron (Chillicothe, Missouri), who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 86. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Campbell and Josephine Campbell; her husband Jack Lee Caughron; and her siblings, Luther Campbell, Leonard Campbell, Larry Campbell, Edith Eckenroed and Helen Stafford.
She is survived by: her in-laws, Ruth, Harold Baggs and Carol Richardson; her nephew Curtis Quinn; her children, Lisa Myers (Robin), Lori Pulver (Josh) and Lee Caughron (Jayme); her siblings-in-law, Robert Caughron (Linda), Harold Baggs (Teresa) and Valerie Simmons; her grandchildren, Jacob Caughron, Travis Myers (Stephanie), Robert Myers (Savannah), Rhonda Myers, Colleen Haughton (Cody), Jade Pulver and Emerald Whiteman (Dillon); her great grandchild Luther Lee Haughton; and her grandchildren, Simon Myers, Aidin Powell and Allie Doody. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Greenhills Animal Shelter in Phyllis's honor, celebrating the values she held dear and continuing her legacy of compassion and generosity.
