Richard Todd Fairchild Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Todd Fairchild of Chillicothe, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his father Richard Fairchild; his father-in-law Larry Lyman; and his brother-in-law Tim Hess. He is survived by: his mother Linda Fairchild (Diggs) of Chillicothe, Missouri; his wife Laurie Ann Lyman; his son Eric (Hallie) of Clinton, Missouri; his grandchildren, Treynor and Zoey; his siblings, Amy Hess of Chillicothe, Missouri and Tony Fairchild (Paula) of Meadville, Missouri; his mother-in-law Judy Lyman of Chillicothe, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Angela Bose (Jeff) of Lee's Summit and Karen Jackson (Jeff) of Chillicothe, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church - Chillicothe (1414 Walnut St, Chillicothe, MO 64601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Todd's honor to the Team Gleason Foundation for ALS or the Green Hills Golf Course Improvement Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
