He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee and Jean Marie Triplett (Cox); his brother Jerry Triplett; and his parents-in-law, Wayne and Berva Hapes.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hapes; his sons, Thomas "Tom" Triplett (Theresa) of Hecla and William "Bill" Triplett (Jamie) of Warrensburg, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jessica Young (Lee) of Prairieville, Sarah Samenus (Connor) of Chillicothe, Wayne Triplett of Kansas City, Jazzlynn Triplett of Warrensburg and Lee Triplett of Chillicothe, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Pacey Samenus, Josie Triplett and Archer Young; and his brothers, Steve Triplett of Chillicothe, Missouri. and Paul Triplett (Marsha) of Chillicothe, Missouri..
