It is with sadness that the passing of Rosamond Owens of Chillicothe, Missouri is shared. Rosamond, born on February 7, 1927, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Myer and Muriel Myer; her husband Bob; her siblings, Esther Ellison, Maxine Patterson, Annabelle Williamson, Haskell Myer and John Myer, Jr.; her stepson Spencer Owens; and her great grandchild Nicole Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Gibson (Stan) of Brookfield, Missouri and John Owens of Liberty, Missouri; her siblings, Carolyn Crafton of Fairland, Indiana, Kenny Myer of Shelbyville, Indiana. and Don Myer of Shelbyville, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Lisa Metry (Greg), Gene Hibner (Tammy), Billy Hibner (Tina), Robbin Schmidt, Debbie Dennis (Mike), Nan Anderson, Denise Bucholz (Brian) and Mark Owens; and her cousin Sheila Schlarb. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren and four great-great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews.
