She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Filley and Mary Filley (Lewin); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Leroy Filley, Robert Filley, Ralph Filley, Carolyn Henderson, Dinah Bolinger and Dixie Stevenson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Burton (Matt) of Kansas City and Kelly Palmer (Zachary) of Royse City, Texas; her grandchildren, Sylvia Burton, Joslyn Burton, Avi Palmer and Jonah Palmer; and her siblings, Marvin Filley (Mary) of Gladstone, Missouri and Doris Darst (John) of Independence, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
