She was predeceased by : her parents, Otha Evans Sights and Francis Amelia Sights (Morris); her husband Karl; and her son William "Billy" Thurman. She is survived by : her child Dr. Karladine Graves; her grandchildren, Natasha Defoe (Chuck), Dr. Larisha Prabhu (Raj), Caleb Graves (Abby), Dr. Dalton Thurman (Alayna), Dr. Conner Thurman (Victoria) and Wyatt Thurman (Stevie); and her half-sisters, Darlene Huff (late Gene) of Columbia, MO and Linda Baker (Roy). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
