Though Peggy Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Caldwell and William Caldwell; her husband Carleton Clay; her son Carleton, Jr. (Turk); and her grandchildren, Audry and Randy.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Steve Jones; her children, Johnnie of Moberly, MO, Jimmy of Moberly, MO, Robert (Bob) of Moberly, MO, Kimberly of Clark, MO and Carla of Chillicothe, MO; and her brother-in-law Gilbert John. She is also survived by 23 grandkids; many great grandkids; her sisters; her brothers.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
