He is survived by: his children, Marsha Waite of Clarksville, MO, Joseph Spangler, Jr. of Clarksville, MO, Gerald Spangler (Arlene) of Rock Springs, WY and Paul Spangler (Lori) of Louisiana, MO; and his brother Nelson Eugene Spangler of Paris, MO.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren.
