It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Asher of Clearmont, Missouri, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry F. Chaney and Beulah Chaney (Skeed); her husband James G. "Jim" Asher; her daughter Leasa Fallmer; and her sister Helen Kaye Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Smith-Freeman (McCalvin); her grandchildren, Zane Townsend, Cody Townsend and Amber Brayman; her stepdaughters, Marian Sand (Chris) and Gail Asher-Fiedler (Ray); and her brother-in-law Richard Stewart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
In memory of Mary, her family suggests memorial be made of the New Nodaway Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
