She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Chaffin and Anna Louise Chaffin (Lutz); her stepson Richard Mitchell Jr.; and her pet Yahtzee. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Mitchell of Cleveland, MO; her children, Rob Dudley of Manhattan, KS, Jeffery Dudley (Cyndy) of Raytown, MO and Mindy Sidwell (Clayton) of Harrisonville, MO; and her brother James Chaffin of Cleveland, MO. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a donation in her name may be made to the American Stroke Foundation.
