She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carroll and Bessie Edith Odom (Powell); her former husband James Everett Zimmerman; her siblings, Charles Keeran, Benny C. Odom, Donnie Odom, Jean Bain and Shirley Barthol; and her stepson Robert Kinney.

She is survived by: her husband James Sterling Kinney, Sr.; her daughter Lori Evans (Richard) of Freeman, Missouri; her stepchildren, James Kinney (Beth) of Drexel, Raymond Kinney (Debra) of Raymore, Thomas Kinney of Leavenworth and Debbie Hamilton (Jeff) of Overland Park, Kansas; her granddaughters, Lauren Sanders (Travis) of Kansas City, Hannah Rowland (Kevin) of Freeman, Missouri and Kathryn Johnson (Griffin) of Freeman, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Kyle and Fallon. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
