She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cotter and Doxie Cotter (Shrable); her husband Jim Atkinson; and her siblings, John Cotter, Ransey Cotter, Mildred Foresee, Corene Hodges and Treva Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Atkinson (Trish) and Karen Gohr (Mike); her grandchildren, Cody Gohr (Regina), Brittany Conner (Trevor), Duke Schupbach (Kelly) and Jodie Payne (Kevin Turpin); her great grandchildren, Leighton, Brody Gohr, Sibyl, Aivyn Conner and Kenton Conner; her grandchildren, Emma Corbett (Dylan) and John Schupbach; her great great grandchildren, Harper and Max Corbett; and her siblings-in-law, Aileen Cotter, Roxie Cotter and J. D. Barber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home of Nixa (109 N Truman Blvd, Nixa, MO 65714). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frazier Cemetery.
