She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Hunter and Goldie Hunter (Borhn); her husband Mervin D. Slaybaugh; her daughter Pamela Slaybaugh; her sisters, Barbara Wareham, Betty Johnson and Darlene Hunter; and her sister-in-law Myrna Wirsig.
She is survived by: her daughter Trudy; her son-in-law Tim Anderson of Clinton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Abby Bray (Jake) of Independence, Amanda Long (James) of Clinton, Lacey Rudolph (CJ) of Clinton and Jesse Anderson (Jen) of Clinton; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Spangler, Chloe Long, Bonnie Ladd, Leo Phillips, Julius Rudoph, Nathan Anderson and Andrew McCord; and her brother Russell Hunter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Clinton Animal Shelter (C.A.R.E.) and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.
