He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Riley and Eva Jewell Jones; and his wife Maxine. He is survived by: his siblings, Estel Leo Baumgarden (Cork), Wilma Jean Williams, Neva Arlene Landon, Glen Ellis Jones (Dick), Peggy Jones, Thomas Harold Jones (TH) and Darrell Jones; his sons, Gerald Jones (Mary), Kavin Jones (Ronett) and Brian Jones (Kim); and his grandsons, Tim Jones, Dustin Jones (Andrea) and Trenton Jones (Molly).

Memorial contributions can be made to Northeast Baptist Church or to Vansant Road Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home.
