It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Cook of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Hake and Fern Hake; her husband Howard Cook; her daughters, Joni Cook and Brenda Cook; and her brothers, Dick, Jim and Bob Hake.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis Cook of Clinton, Sandra Cook of Clinton, Sue Ellen Cook of Clinton and Beverly (Bob Dennis) of Lake Placid, Florida; her siblings, Donna Brownsberger (Sam), Margie Bramell, Todd Hake (Cora) and Ed Hake (Joann); her sisters-in-law, Pat Cook and Virginia Hake; her granddaughter Megan Cook (Matt Davidson); her great grandchild Emmett Davidson of Cape Coral, Florida; her stepgrandchildren, Jamie Benson (Tim) and Bobby Dennis (Crystal); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jaden Kramer, Jaxen Kramer, Izabella Dennis and Emelia Dennis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary's Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home.
