It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Engelhart of Clinton, Missouri, born in Bolivar, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Raymond Cornell and Hazel Alice Cornell (Fahnestock); her husband Norman Joseph Engelhart; and her sister Joann Good. She is survived by : her sons, Bruce W. (Nancy) of Clinton, MO. and Mark A. Engelhart (Tara) of Clinton, MO.; her sister Marie Wilson; her grandchildren, Andrew (Anna Edmonson) of Clinton, MO., Eric (Stephanie) of Clinton, MO. and Kyle of Clinton, MO.; her great grandchildren, Gloria Chaney, Ellie, Reagan Bettencourt, Kacie, Carly Engelhart, Lanie, Easton and Kenzie Engelhart; and her siblings, Betty Blumhost (Ray Mayes) of Vinita, Richard Dale Cornell (Laura Lee) of Harrisonville, MO and Connie Sanchez (Gary) of Sparta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clinton Christian Church (1201 E Ohio St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. She belonged to three bridge clubs until Covid hit the community.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Christian Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
