She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry D. Brown, Sr. and Gladys Brown (Slusher); and her husband Mick. She is survived by: her brother David (Nova Brown) of Broussard; her nieces and nephews, Wesley and Mendy (Cal Waits); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mae, Finley and Holland; her nephew Alex (Grace); her great-niece Ava; her children, Brandon Brown (Nicole Caylor) and Dr. Nicole Brown (Braden Medders); her sister-in-law Jan (Tom Beck) of Lexington; and her friends, Jeff and Julia Stone of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Retired Teachers Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.
