She is survived by: her parents, Richard Leon Howerton and Janice Joyce Howerton (Fletcher); her husband Billy Hendrick; her son Christopher Smith of Sedalia, Missouri; her stepsons, Troy Hendrick (Shannan) of Clinton and Chad Hendrick (Brittany) of Deepwater, Missouri; her grandsons, Spencer, Preston, Brennon, Parker and Braden; her sister Tammy Gill (John) of Ozark, Missouri; her nieces, Sarah Gutirrez (Danny) of Nixa, Emily Hammitt (Bryce) of Oklahoma City and Allison Gill of Ozark, Missouri; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Gabe, Claire and Ryland; and her siblings-in-law, Russ Hendrick (Sharon), Kenny Hendrick (Becky) of Clinton and Glenda Strouse of Clinton.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or The Pediatric Place: Family First Initiative, two organizations that held a special place in Kimberly's heart.
