With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura L. Sisney of Clinton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Powell and Myrtle Powell (Bourland); her husband William V. "Bill" Sisney; and her siblings, Don Powell, Doris Quillin and Maxine Gerstner.
She is survived by: her children, Kathie Jo Elliott of Kansas City, MO and William Kyle Sisney of Clinton, MO; her grandchildren, William Taylor Kyle Sisney, Billy Vielbig of Leavenworth, KS, Jo Lynn Vielbig of Kansas City, MO, Laura Elliott, Tahlia Sophia and Ellison James Claire Sisney of Clinton, MO; her great grandchildren, Ocean Lee Sisney, William Christopher Vielbig, Gavin Michael Vielbig and Charlie Marie Vielbig; and her sister Joyce Nichols of Appleton City, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Seeds of Faith Preschool and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
