She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora Iris Thompson (Knisely) and Nolan Thompson; and her sister Sheila McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Tom Strouse; her children, Hayli Strouse Beebe (Bahrain), Thomas Strouse II (Jennifer) of Centerview and Dillon Strouse (Tiffany) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Taylar, Aidan, Addison, Sidney, Thomas and Truman "Marx"; her great grandchildren, Parker and Sadie; and her sister Cindy Ryles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Henry County Library and may be left in care of the funeral home.
