She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul McGuire and Helen McGuire (McGaughey); her husband Gerald Poppen; her son Kenneth Wayne Poppen; and her siblings, Mitzie Johnson and Jack McGuire.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Poppen of Milbank, SD, Terry Poppen (Amy) of Rowlett, TX, James Poppen (Becky) of Cambridge, MN and Jennifer Horne (Scott) of Cedar Park, TX; her sister Becky Dillingham (David) of Champaign, IL; her brother-in-law Gerry Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Brandon Perkins (Kacie), Landry Poppen, Mason Poppen, Jonah Poppen (Rebekah), Elizabeth Anderson (Collin), Peyton Horne, Brady Horne (Hailey), Dillon Horne, Addison Horne, Tyler Poppen (Katie) and Carly Brehmer (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Dean, Hank, August, Grace, Maci, Alex, Aiden, Owen, Eldon and Bennett.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
