He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poage of Sedalia, MO; his daughters, Amy Pena of Liberty, MO and Sara Hanlon (Patrick) of Melbourne, FL; his stepchildren, Frank Wolfe (Leslie) of Anaconda, MT and Susan Clevenger of Sedalia, MO; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Kovich, Nicole Wolfe, Ashley Wolfe, Whitney Hurt, Dylan Thowe, Alex Pena, Austin Parish and Jay Hurt (Lynn); and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Madalyn, Carson, Benton and Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Don's name to the American Tree Farm System.
