James Ray Abey Obituary

He was predeceased by: his mother Vikki Abey (LeMaire); and his grandparents, Frenchy and Earlene LeMaire. He is survived by: his father Gary Abey (Chris) of Oklahoma; his wife Audrey Meyer; his children, Blake, Zackary and Sophia; his siblings, Sheila Abey of Sedalia and Mark Abey (Jessie) of Emma; his nieces and nephews, Jaylon Abey-Cade, Kayten Abey, Aevery Black, Christian Abey, Julissia Abey, Ella Black, Jason Dieckman, Andrea Dieckman and Melanie Dieckman; and his great-nephew Dean Hudson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center at State Fair Community College (3201 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (11357 Lake Creek Ave, Cole Camp, MO 65325).
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Cole Camp Rec League or the James Abey Scholarship Fund in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
