She is survived by: her husband Thomas Edward Walter; her grandchildren, Erik Edmonds of Overland Park, KS and Macee Caldwell of Independence, MO; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Vivienne Edmonds, Whit Edmonds, Chase Caldwell and William Caldwell; her sister Carol Williams of Cole Camp, MO.; her children, Alan Walter and Cynthia Cooper (Walter); and her siblings, Genevieve Pritzel, Cletus H. J. Pritzel, Arnold H. Pritzel, Alvin A. Pritzel, Leland Pritzel and Darlene Hesse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Children's Mercy Hospital—two places that held deep meaning in Mae's life.
