He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Leona Nichols (Mathis); his wife Barbara Nichols; and his daughter Sue Baker. He is survived by: his children, Donald Nichols, Steve Nichols (Angie) of Harrisburg, Timothy E. Nichols of Columbia and Glenda Chaney (Milton) of Des Moines; his siblings, Terry Nichols of Columbia and Henrietta Scouten (Paul) of Harrisburg; and his pet Star. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many other family members and friends.
