He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jordan and Gladys Cumbie; his wife Marlene Waggoner of Spur; his grandfather Billy; and his siblings, John Cumbie, Jr., Arnel Rhea Cumbie and Sue Farley.
He is survived by: his friends, R. C. Littlefield, Carlton Dodson and Kenneth Street; his children, Patricia Broadfoot (John), Douglas Glenn Cumbie (Debbie) and John Scott Cumbie (Kathy); his grandchildren, Katelyn Glaze (Michael), Natalie Cumbie, John Robert'Jack'Cumbie and Joanna Bennett (Riley); and his great grandchildren, Atticus, Phineas, Silas and Estelle Glaze.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Memorial Park Cemetery (1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202).
