He was predeceased by: his parents, Areville Smith and Muriel Smith (Young); his wife Judith Whitaker; and his daughter Christa Schilb. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy (Steve); his sisters, Earlene Simms and Judi McKowan; and his grandchildren, Mallory, Joel, Justin, Kalie and Aaron. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many other extended family.
