It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elaine Mitchell of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Mitchell; her parent Clara Johnson; her great-grandparent Martha Palmer; her siblings, William, Steven, Kenneth Palmer and Cheryl Stapleton; and her grandchildren, Zhanay Jacobs and Qullian Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Felicia Mitchell (Clinton Walker) of Columbia and Tina Palmer of Columbia; her siblings, Shari Jacobs and Gary Palmer; and her friend James Pettigrew. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members.
