She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Becker Edwards and William Corydon Edwards; her husband John Byron Giesler; her sister Evelyn Lewis; and her stepbrother Harold "Bud" Carpenter, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Wilder (Kevin) of Columbia, MO, Mary and Mark; and her granddaughters, Lauren Becker and Allison Thomas. She is also survived by several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
