He was predeceased by: his uncles, Larry Hearld and William Robinson; and his grandparents, Shirley Hayes, Willa Walker and Thomas Walker, Jr..

He is survived by: his sons, Jackson Holmes of Overland Park, KS, Jayden and Malik Hayes; the parent of his children Charisse Troutman; his parents, Charles Hayes and Willa Hayes; his brother Marcus Hayes of Columbia; his aunts and uncles, Duane (Angie) of Sacramento, CA, Roderick Hayes of Sacramento, CA, Priscilla Kincaid (Ray) of Kansas City, MO, Theresa Smith (Michael) of Moberly, MO, Sheila Harrison of Sacramento and Rossalind Hayes of Sacramento; and his grandfather Ross Hayes of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
