It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christi McLain of Columbia, Missouri, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jerome Loethen; her father-in-law Lester McLain; and her brother-in-law Kevin McLain. She is survived by: her mother Sue Elizabeth Loethen (Anderson) of Jefferson City; her husband Brian McLain of Columbia; her sons, Trevor McLain of Fayetteville and Ark (Cade McLain); her siblings, Rob Loethen (Shelley) of Lee's Summit, Douglas Loethen of Jefferson City, David Loethen of Kansas City and Cindy York (Steve) of Jefferson City; her mother-in-law Karen McLain of Columbia; and her brother-in-law Rick McLain (Tara) of Denver, Colo.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the "Christi McLain Memorial Fund" to assist her sons with continuing their education.
