It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Simmons Kirchoff of Columbia, Missouri, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. J. "Pedro" Simmons and Mary Jean Miller Simmons; her stepson John Kirchhoff; and her husband Dave. She is survived by: her son Mark Kirchhoff (Kelsey) of Columbia, MO; her siblings, Suellen Fenton (Carter Fenton) of Charleston, MO, Jenneth Kellett (Tim) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Woody Simmons (Donna) of Columbia, MO.; her stepdaughters, Sarah McLaughlin (Mike) of Olathe, KS and Becky Jennings (Cary) of O'Fallon, MO; and her grandchildren, Claudia, Brady, Aidan, Grant and Maddie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Caring Hearts and Hands of Columbia, and the Midwest Australian Shepherd Rescue, or to the charity of one's choice.
