He is survived by: his children, Barbara Jo Casada (Ferrell), Michael Eugene Ferrell (Caitlin Ferrell) and Jack Daniel Ferrell (Kasarah Ferrell); his wife Mary Jo Ferrell (Meek); his grandchildren, Lilah Ferrell, Landry Ferrell, Jack Ferrell, Tripp Casada and Joplin Casada; and his extended family Marines. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Dan's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization whose mission reflects his lifelong devotion to service and country.
