It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Richard Killday of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Killday and Shirlene Killday (Morehead); his brother Mike Killday; and his siblings-in-law, Mitch Roberts, Bob Bahr, David Bahr, Barry Baker, Chris Killday and Donna Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Killday (Bahr); his children, Kari Hutchison (Chris Hernandez) and Matthew Killday (Casey); his grandchildren, Morgan (Ethan), Chloe and Jaxon; his great grandchildren, Derek, Willow, Dane and Lainey; his siblings, Karen Shelledy (Dave), Teresa Roberts, Lori Eitel (Glen), Lisa Anderson (Bob), Susie Kitchen (Anthony), Karla Killday, Kelly Holt (Matt) and Robert F. Killday; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Thomas (John), Janeen Bahr, Terry Breidenstein (Tom), Sandi Bahr, Susan Nolte and Charles (Kathy Kreutzer); and his great-nephew Rick.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy (and unpaid bets) be made as donations to The Lodge Assisted Living Facility in Fayette, MO, or Good Shepherd Hospice out of Marshall, MO — both of whom were instrumental in keeping him comfortable, well cared for, and just grumpy enough to still be Rick.
