Darrell Gerlt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Gerlt of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Junior Gerlt and Dorothy Welch Gerlt; his wife Martha Gerlt; and his stepdaughter Jamie Tabor. He is survived by: his children, Darrell J. Gerlt of Marshall and Amanda Smith of Marshall; his stepchildren, Angie Sample of Slater and Marci Gari (Robert) of Slater; his close friend Missy Short; his grandchildren, Jessica Sample, Dalton Gari, Cheyenne Dotson and Wyatt Dotson; his sister Lana Shively (Billy) of Marshall; Cassie Dotson of Sweet Springs and Heath Thalgott of Columbia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

No services will be held and memorials may be made to family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
