He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Joe Murphy (Eric Prouty) and Katie Monroe (Daniel Monroe); his grandchildren, Maya, Bennett and Dylan; his siblings, Jana Murphy and Mike Murphy (Wanda Murphy); his nephew Nick Balla; his sister-in-law Chris Sheriff; and his close friends, Dale Langford, Scott Denson and Joy Amuedo.
He endured his recent struggles with Parkinson's Disease and dementia with patience and grace.
