He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard George and Clarice George; and his siblings, Darrell George and Anna Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Rita George; his sons, Joseph Bates (Shannon) and Steven Bates (Mary); his brothers, Larry George (Karen) and Lindell George (Dee); his grandchildren, Neila, Chance, Levi and Austin; and his great grandchild Ruth Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
