He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Laird and Reba Laird; his brother David Laird; and his pet Bob. He is survived by: his wife Jo Lynn "Joey" Laird; his children, Campbell and Grayson Laird; his grandchildren, Ensa, Isabella, Wilson, Mack and Jones; his siblings, Douglas Laird (Shari) and Dorothy McClure (Brian); and his sister-in-law Cecilia Penaherrera Laird.
