Doris leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Doris’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Doris will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Huff and Jewel Netherton Huff; her husband Kenneth Cott; and her son-in-law Bill Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Ron Cott (Jane) of Leawood, Charlie Cott (Chris) of Columbia and Martha Blackwell of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; five great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Fish Creek Cemetery Association in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
