We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2026, at the age of 82, Douglas Allen Grimm of Columbia, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard William and Arbutus Louise Grimm (Kalmus); his brother William Grimm (Bill); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Grimm. He is survived by: his siblings, James Grimm (Debby), Frank L. Goody (Laurie) and Betty Piper (Dallas); his niece Danielle Grimm; and his nephews, Michael Piper (Paula), Thomas Piper (Jamie), Jason Goody (Lisa) and Frank J. Goody (Yuki).
