With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dwight Richard Cruikshank of Columbia, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Wayne A. Giddings; and his half-brother Matthew Cruikshank. He is survived by: his wife Lorinda Cruikshank (Fry) of Columbia; his mother Brenda M. Cruikshank (Mercer); his sister Catherine Cruikshank Shymansky of Iowa City; his niece Corrina Shymansky (Michael Bunker) of Marietta; his nephews, Nicholas and Bond J. Shymansky of Iowa City; his father Dwight P. Cruikshank; his half-brothers, Mark Cruikshank, John Cruikshank (Melissa) and James Cruikshank (Vanessa); his nieces and nephews, Kendall, Jack, Madelyn, Lilah and Elijah; and his pets, Lorinda, Ralph, Waldo and Emerson.
