He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sexton and Christeen Stapleton; and his siblings, John Stapleton, Jr., Otis Stapleton, Cheryl Stapleton Clay and Linda Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Stapleton (Dameron); his children, Earl Stapleton, Jr., Michelle Stapleton and Teresa Dameron; and his siblings, Kenneth Stapleton and Glenda Stapleton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel (1610 N Garth Ave, Columbia, MO 65202).
