He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donnie Nichols, John Carlos, Mary Murphy and Imogene Reed; his daughter Stephanie Ann Carlos; and his grandchildren, Kara Calvin and Kyle Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Nichols; his children, David Carlos (Teresa) of Rocheport, Cynthia Roth of Otterville, Christopher Carlos (Becky) of Columbia, Melissa Merritt (Rocky), Jennifer Creason (Rusty) of Columbia, Anthony Bell of Columbia and Tony Seiling of Columbia; his grandchildren, Justin Carlos, Jessica Aldridge, Ethan Williams, Emma Carlos, Emmitt Carlos, Corey Griggs, Steven Daugherty, Gravin Pettig, Garrett Pettig, Nick Meloy, Mason Meloy, Hunter Creason and Fisher Creason; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Aldridge, Nathan Aldridge, Hartlee Aldridge, Maverick Aldridge, Everett and Malcom Griggs.
