We bid farewell to Evelyn King of Columbia, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Johnson and Charlie Hill; her grandmother Maggie Coleman; her foster mother Betty Poindexter; her grandmother Willie Tibbs; her children, Sherry Woods and Randall King Sr.; her grandson Randall King II; and her sisters, Ernestine Roberts and Betty Canton.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Jefferson (Reed), Rodney Woods (Toni) and Cortez King Sr. (Angel); her sister Bennie Mae Maple; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jovon, Cherelle, Cortez Jr., Catrina, Rodney II, Rhonda, Dionne, Deiandre, Tanesha and Jaleesa. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
