It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen DeWitt Harper of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollien Harper and Lois Harper; his sisters, Annette, Frances and Margaret; and his stepson Derek Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Anna Caldwell; his daughters, Lynne Gipson (Jim) of Sikeston, Claudia Little (Joey) of Clever, MO and Rebecca Standridge (Larry) of Sikeston; his stepchildren, Ereka Cook Copeland (Craig) of Columbia and Repps Goodson of Springfield, MO.; his grandchildren, Katey Wibbenmeyer (Justin), Hunter Gipson (Madison), Dawson Little, Harper Boswell (Will), Wyatt Standridge, Conner Cook, Lauren Cook, Andrew Copeland, Olivia Copeland, Drake Goodson and Tinsley A Goodson; his great grandchildren, Lane Wibbenmeyer, Kyler Wibbenmeyer and Aiden Loza-Cook; and his siblings, Martha Harper Dillon of Daytona, Florida, Sharon Harper Loomis of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Dixie Harper Corrigan of Lakeland and Charles Harper of Paragould, Arkansas.. He is also survived by his family and friends, holidays, sports, children, and grandchildren.
