It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerhard Welschmeyer of Columbia, Missouri, born in Freeburg, Missouri, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Welschmeyer and Mary Welschmeyer (Lauberth); his siblings, Betty Mueller, Lorine Deeken, Thersia Evers, Mildred Hopkins and Paul Welschmeyer; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Evers and John Deeken.

He is survived by: his sister Helen Grellner (Bob) of Rich Fountain. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
